Conceptual Comic page 17

This was _really_ hard to catagorize and I wish DA had more choices under "printing"
However this was part of my finale for my printmaking class so I catagorized it as such.

How to explain this umm, I've been working at making my own "comics" in which I basically collage together images from various comic and art sources. The idea is I work with repetition, color, layout etc and try to create something that feels narrative but is not necessarily narrative. It also explores the comics as a way of presenting art and combines the ideas behind so called high and low art.

I actually put together a whole comic like this; however, due to the ToS of DA, this is the only page I can submit as this is the only page which features only my artwork. All other pages are partially (or wholly) put together from other art. The gallery which is currently featuring two pages of this has no problem with it (and in fact they are for sale ) but I know DA does.

If you are interested in seeing the other pages, links are below. Keep in mind, these are "raw" pages. They're not appearing as they would in the comic.

And seriously the first person who goes OMG YOU STOLLLD is gonna get thwaped -_- Duh, that's part of the point. This type of stealing has a looooooong and respected history in modern art.
